Suicide Prevention Talk: Real-Life Warning Signs and Things You Should Know to Avoid the Unthinkable

Linda Pacha, president and founder of Nick’s Network of Hope and author of Saving Ourselves from Suicide—Before and After: How to Ask for Help, Recognize Warning Signs, and Navigate Grief tells her son’s heartbreaking story. It includes ongoing bullying, not fitting in, and in the end, suffering from mental health problems.

You will learn real-life examples of warning signs and risk factors, as well as the complexities of mental health. Learn parenting considerations and practical suggestions to reduce the pressure we put on our youth and create a kinder world.

(This event was postponed due to Illinois mandated social gathering restrictions due to Covid-19. It is being rescheduled for a future date TBA)
