Is depression common among our youth? Is it normal? What are the symptoms? Is medical treatment necessary? As loving parents, what can we do to help our children prevent depression and other mental health issues in the first place? And what resources are available for us for effective interventions when symptoms occur? To answer these questions that are becoming increasingly real and urgent in our community, United Chinese Americans presents a special Mental Health Webinar on Sunday, July 5, 2020 @3PM EST.

A team of clinical experts from the nation’s top hospitals/institutions will share their work and insight regarding mental health issues among Asian American children and adolescents. During this webinar, a panel of parents (including Linda Pacha, author of Saving Ourselves from Suicide—Before and After and founder of Nick’s Network of Hope) and students will also share their first-hand experience dealing with mental health issues. Please don’t miss this opportunity for the well-being of your children, your family, and our Asian American community.
